The project is implemented by the project team who report to the project management group (PMG) which is made up of representatives from the following organizations:

The PMG meets quarterly to discuss project actions and progress.
The PMG is supported by a broader based Project Advisory Panel (PAP) which meets annually.
Coillte acknowledges the funding received from the EU LIFE-Nature programme and from NPWS (Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht) without which this project would not be possible.
The project reports to the EU LIFE Unit of the Directorate General Environment of the European Commission, 5 times during its implementation 2011 – 2015.
Each year the European Commission sends a member of its External Monitoring Team (Astrale) to visit the project sites and to monitor progress on the project.
